Outdoor Fire Pit Areas

The fall, cool weather is upon us and there is nothing more casual and relaxing than having drinks with friends outside around a fire pit.

Custom fire pits are often seen in homes that used landscape architects. They are a great design feature that takes advantage of the outdoors and makes people go outside to enjoy their backyards. Unusually hey are gas operated and very easy to turn off and on.   They provide heat and light and are the perfect atmosphere for a cool night. I design them in almost every home I can and work closely with architects to find the best spots on a lot to place them.  Sometimes overlooking the ocean, sometimes in hidden corners.

If your home is smaller, you can purchase free standing fire pits from many home stores and simply put chairs around it to create a similar effect.  Either way, the point is to get outside before the winter arrives and to enjoy the beautiful sunsets left this year.
