My Own Private Island...

The definition of luxury is changing and living in a huge 22 thousand square foot home is not nesesarily the most desireble asset anymore.  But owning and living on a private island is truly a luxury!

A private island gives you the ability to have full privacy, a casual, natural, beach environment that is peaceful and relaxing.  It's probably why so many celebrities and executives opt for owning private island getaways. Marlon Brando's South Pacific island was one of the first and has since been followed by Richard Branson's Necker Island, Leonardo De Caprio's Belize island, Mel Gibson's Mango island,  and the huge amounts of private islands in the Bahamas owned by stars such as Nicholas Cage, David Copperfield, Faith Hill, Eddie Murphy and Johnny Depp.

I'm dreaming of private islands today.
